Ideal event for newcomers as well as established orienteers

Location:From Ponteland travel to Belsay on the main A696 Jedburgh road.
Just beyond Belsay village at a multiple junction, take the second right turn for Bolam (2 miles)
Alternative route via Morpeth and Whalton. On A1 northbound, after Stannington take exit for Morpeth on A167. Entering Morpeth, just past County Hall take B6524 left (west). After 5 miles at Whalton village take right turn (north) then on for 4 miles to Bolam Lake.

Charges: First hour - Free, Up to two hours - £1.60, Over two hours - £3.00
Courses: White (1.2 km. ~ 25m.), Yellow (2.2 km. ~ 40m.), Orange (3.0 km. ~ 50m.), Light Green (3.2 km. ~ 50m.) and Green (4.8 km. ~ 60m.)
Entry:Seniors (M/W21+) £7.00
Juniors (M/W20-) / Schoolchildren £2.00
Leaders of groups (Scouts/schools) please notify the organiser in advance so that enough maps are printed.

Punching:SportIdent Electronic. Dibber loan free. Loss charge 40.
Starts:10:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m Courses close 1:00 p.m.
Terrain: Country Park, mixed woodland, paths, tracks.
Map: 1:5,000. Waterproof Paper.
Facilities: Toilets. The visitor centre and cafe may be open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Dogs:Dogs are permitted throughout the park.
