Training:An event on similar terrain to the south of the competition area will be held on Saturday 1st July Details
Travel:Entrance to Druridge Bay Country Park (NE61 5BX) is Brown Signed at NU259001 on A1068 Ashington to Amble road.
From the south take A19 or A1(M) + A194(M) + A184 + A19 to Tyne Tunnel (Toll).
From the tunnel north end follow A19 for 6 miles to major rbt junction 5th exit onto A189
Follow A189 9 miles to small rdb just past railway overbridge.(Single carriageway begins)
First exit still on A189 leading to A1068 (exit 3 at next rbt.) Continue for 6 miles.
Alternative from the south and from the west (A69)
A1(M) + A1 to junction 80 (Ashington) and A19 for 2 miles to major rbt juntion above, taking 2nd exit onto A189 and then as above.
ParkingFollow the park road to car parking according to marshals/signs.

EOD Entry:Seniors (M/W21+) 8.00 ~ Juniors (M/W20-) 3.00 ~ White Course free.
E.O.D Courses:White, Yellow, Orange, Light Green, Short Green, Green, Blue subject to map availability

Terrain:The competiton area comprises a strip of high dunes extending the length of the map
which has complex contour detail to test the more experienced as well as useful line features for the less technical courses.
Inland the area is a mix of fields and patches of more or less open woodland with some paths and small features.
Start is 5 mins walk from assembly and parking and the finish arena is by assembly to allow teams to support their finishers.
