Travel: From South Gosforth Roundabouts take Freeman Road (signed "Heaton/Freeman Hospital").
At the next roundabout turn right into Castles Farm Road (signed "Jesmond")
Note that A189 approach to South Gosforth roundabouts is closed. Alternative via Four Lane Ends
Approach also from Matthew Bank along Castles Farm Rd. also possible but beware pedestrians.
Buses: Several services: Northbound stop: Castle Farm Rd. Southbound: Freeman Hospital. Metro: S.Gosforth 1.25km.
Car park: Disability North on the right as you turn off Freeman Road. NZ257676 NE3 1PH

Short Green (4.0km. ~ 90m. climb) ~ Green (4.6 km. ~ 135m. climb)
Blue (6.1 km. ~ 190m. climb)(Two sided map on this course)
Terrain:Mature woodland parks with some open mown grass areas. Excellent path networks. The Ouseburn flows through the centre. Runnable throughout.
Dogs:Under close control.
Facilities: There are no public toilets at the park. Nearest are in the picnic field pavilion within Jesmond Dene.

Be wary of slippery steps/slopes if wet
