Ideal event for newcomers as well as established orienteers. Instruction available.

Travel: Lakeshore Car Park (South Side), Northumbrian Way. (free), Northumbrian Way NZ271708 ~ NE12 6EE
Arriva Bus 52 (Cramlington) from Haymarket (10:06)(30 minute journey) and Four Lane Ends to Southgate. Stagecoach 63 from Blackett/New Bridge Street to Southgate (frequent ~ 30 minute journey)
Registration: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Lengths may vary slightly from those above as courses are finalised.

Junior Courses: Juniors whose age is less than 16 years on the competition day are restricted to courses 5 and 6 only.
Course 5 has one manned road crossing. Course 6 is restricted to parkland and quiet estate roads with no significant traffic.
Measurements are direct line distances. Actual running distance is likely to be at least 50% higher depending on the routes taken.
