Orienteering Night Owl Series 2018 - 19
The Night Owls League will run through the winter months. A series of events will determine the Night Owls champions.
The winner of each course will get 100 points.
A prize will be awarded to each overall winner of the Long and of the Short courses.
The winner of the each course can choose a bottle of red wine or a bottle of wine wine, complete with appropriate label. See above.

Starts: 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted in event details

|Park at the Nunsmoor Centre car park, Studley Terrace, NE4 5AH|
|Enter ~ 50m. east of the junction of Studley Terrace and Brighton Grove and park where you can.|
|At the west end of the car park a path runs westward to the traffic lights at the junction (follow tapes). Cross the road - carefully! - to the park entrance for Registration, Start, and Finish.|
|Bus: Stagecoach 12 (Two Ball Lonnen/Fenham) from Wallsend/Walker, Blackett Street stops almost opposite the car park entrance.|
|Once past St. James' Park the bus takes a sharp left turn. Get off at the third stop after this turn.|
|Terrain: The area is in three contiguous parts: an open area of fast runnable grass interspersed with individual trees and thickets and some copses; an area of rough grass (grazed pasture) with few features; and a small but intricate park.|
