Travel:The centre of Hexham lies on the A695 from Gateshead.
Very close are the A69 Newcastle to Carlisle and the A68 Darlington to Scotland trunk routes.
Good Rail (900 m) and Bus Services (500 m) serve the town.Walking route from Rail/Bus

Centre:Hexham Middle School: NE46 1BU ~ NY939637 Vehicle route from A695 or A69. Beware of walkers going to the start.
Parking:Within the school grounds as directed.
Registration:9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. within the school building. (Beaumont Gym).
Pre-entry:Please pre-order a map (stating event, entrant name, age, club (if any), course, numbers of membership & dibber (or hire)).

Fees:Pre-ordered entries payable on the day: £10.00 Senior (21+) for courses Light Green to Brown
£5.00 Junior (20-) / Student / Seniors for courses White to Orange.
Entry on the day subject to map availability.
Punching:SPORTident Electronic (SIAC enabled). Dibber hire (non-SIAC) £1 (£40 loss charge)
Starts:10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. From assembly 1.5 km. 80m climb on public rights of way. Courses close 2:30 p.m.
No fixed start times. Turn up and go. Competitors in the Interland selection races will set off at 4-minute intervals.
Finish:Close to start. Clothing may be left at the start (at your own risk).

Courses Blue & Brown could bring competitors close to dangerous crags near Devil's Water on the S.E. extremity of the map.
These are mapped as impassable crags but are not taped off. Competitors need to stay clear of them.

Please bring your own requirement of water.
