Terrain Note:Open sand dune area consisting of a complex path network amongst dense marram grass and runnable open areas.
Scattered gorse and other shrubs. Numerous short climbs and descents. Many minor paths through dense grassy areas are not mapped. Thorny undergrowth is scattered across the area making leg covering essential. The area is busy with many dog walkers and families. Longer courses have been planned to avoid most busy areas and, due to Covid 19, please exercise caution in your route choice to avoid running into large gatherings. One particularly busy stretch of path has been marked on the map as a forbidden route. High tide will occur during the event possibly making the beach narrower than mapped.
