A series of low key local events on a Wednesday evening, in and around Newcastle and North Tyneside, with a league to encourage participation and competition. Courses suitable for beginners (advice will be available) and the more experienced wanting some training competition.

Courses:
Yellow ~ Orange ~ Long Orange.

Maps ands Controls
Sites will be marked with a plastic marker secured with a clothes peg. Markers will have a code letter in permanent marker to be written on the control card. Carry a pen.

Scoring:
100 points for the winner of each course, 99 for second, 98 for third etc. Anyone running in a course above their class will get a bonus of 5 points (10 for 2 courses above) and, likewise, anyone running a course below their class will be docked 5 points (10 for 2 courses below).

Travel: NZ164762 Memorial Hall, Darras Rd, Ponteland, NE20 9NX
Parking: Memorial Hall Car Park. Northbound turn left off Main Street (A696) and immediately look left to C.P.
X77 from Eldon Sq (17:15 & 17:45 also 74 (Hexham!!) 17:35 to Memorial Hall, Darras Rd.
Short walk connections could be made from the Metro at Bankfoot.
Terrain: Ponteland Park and some local streets on Long Orange.
A post “O” barbeque will be provided at the Lakey’s house. 3 Runnymede Rd NE20 9HE close to the venue.
Heat and salads will be provided , please bring your own meat etc .
