Travel:From the A189 (Spine Road) follow the A1334 towards North Seaton. At the Fox Cover pub turn left on to Freeman Way.
Follow Freeman Way to the end then turn right on to Castle Island Way. Nearest postcode NE63 0XL.

Map:New area mapped 2018. Covers the eastern end of Wansbeck Riverside Park from North Seaton to the Coast.
1:7500 (Orange, Light Green, Green and Blue) 1:5000 (White and Yellow) printed on waterproof A4 paper.
Descriptions:Printed on the map and available as loose descriptions at the start.
Punching:SportIdent electronic punching. Dibber hire is free but there is a loss charge of £40.00
Terrain:Mixture of open and woodland along the north bank of the River Wansbeck. Extensive path network. Small area of sand dunes on some courses.

There are brambles in the area so full leg cover is advised.
The area is popular with dog walkers, cyclists and horseriders.
Please bring your own requirement of water.
A whistle should be carried, otherwise officials reserve the right to deny entry.
