For insurance, all entrants must be TCA members, Full (currently £15) or Associate (lasts until 31 December, free online at www.trailquest.co.uk ). Join early to get your membership card. Joining as an Associate on the day attracts a £3 administration charge. Associate members pay £2 event insurance levy, which we send to TCA. Insurance is included in Full Membership.
Entry forms, available from the organiser (contact below), or downloaded, should be returned to him by post or by email, to arrive by 13 July. Email entries will be receipted. Telephone if you do not get a receipt. A few late entries may be available by telephone to the Organiser up until the previous night subject to spare maps. Entry fees etc. should be paid on the day.

Facilities: Portaloo
Terrain: Forest roads, minor rural roads and bridleways. All legal routes will be marked on the event map. Footpaths must not be used.
Controls: Mini kites with punches. An example will be displayed at the start.
Competition:A 2 hour score event through Harwood Forest and on adjacent bridleways. A mountain bike or sturdy hybrid will be required. Assistance with rules or procedures available at the event. All bikes will be checked for good working condition. Suitable for competent cyclists over 14 years old.
Map : A bagged full colour A4 map based on a section of the 1:50,000 OS Landranger 51, pre-printed with all controls and a description list. Please give some thought as to how you will carry your map. Control point values will vary depending on the difficulty or distance to travel. Points will be deducted for exceeding 2 hours. Teams must stay together (within 50m) and both must visit the control sites.
Safety: All entrants MUST wear a helmet and are recommended to carry a basic first aid kit, a basic repair kit and a whistle, and be suitably dressed for the weather conditions. All entrants will be required to certify that they have read and understood the safety rules for the event which will be displayed at Registration.
