    Terrain: Dunes. Full leg protection advised – sharp vegetation.

    Travel: From the south: A193 along the coast. At the dual carriageway take the right lane and roundabout third exit (signed P Beach).
    From other directions: From Spine Road (A189) follow A1061 to its end at South Beach roundabout, where forward (signed P Beach).
    In both cases after the crossing lights, turn right into the car park and drive as far as possible to its end.
    Bus: 308 (Arriva) (to South Beach)/ 309 (GoNE) (to Rotary Way) Newcastle – Blyth both via Whitley Bay.
    X7 (Arriva) or X8 (Arriva) Newcastle – Blyth via S. Gosforth (to Rotary Way).

    Parking: Free Public Car Park (Mermaid Car Park) off the A193 at South Beach, Blyth NE24 3PQ Streetmap
    This car park can get busy in good weather. Alternatives are: travel south along A193, turn into the long Ranch Car Park, turn left and drive as close to the farm as possible. (1 km. to registration along the cycleway/footpath.) or seek considerate parking in South Beach estate off A1061.

    Entry: Online Pre entry only via SiEntries. Entries open xxx and close Sunday 10th July.
    Seniors (M/W21+): £7.00  Juniors (M/W20-): £2.00
    Limited entry on the day for Yellow & Orange only subject to map availability.

    Registration/Enquiries/Download: At the south end of the car park.
    Start: A short walk from registration. 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Courses close 2:00 p.m.

    Punching: SPORTident electronic for start/finish only. Pin punches and standard kites around the course. Carry a control card.

    Courses: White, Yellow, Orange, Light Green, Short Green, Green and Blue

    Facilities: Coffee, Ices, Fish & Chips, Greggs, Coop, Toilets. Blyth Battery historical site.
